No.300, Xinnuo RD, SHANGHAI, China – September 7, 202–PY Group, a leading manufacturer of food processing equipment, welcomed a delegation from Turkish client Akay for an in-depth factory visit and project meeting this week, marking a significant step in the companies' ongoing partnership.
The visit centered on Akay’s proposed acquisition of a complete wafer/egg roll production line, a high-capacity system designed for continuous, automated wafer-style roll manufacturing. During the program, the Turkish team toured PY Group’s manufacturing facilities, observing live assembly and quality control processes for the key components of the line, including the automatic batter mixing station, multi-zone baking ovens, and the precision cooling and stacking conveyors.

Following the factory walk through, both parties held a comprehensive project meeting to finalize technical specifications, production timelines, and after-sales service protocols. PY Group’s engineering team presented customized layout options tailored to Akay’s existing factory footprint, along with energy-efficiency data and modular upgrade paths for future capacity expansion.

The discussions were described by both sides as highly constructive and cordial. Akay the procurement director expressed strong satisfaction with the machine performance demonstrated during on-site test runs, particularly praising the uniformity of the baking process, the durability of the stainless-steel forming heads, and the line’s user-friendly PLC control interface.
“We have evaluated several suppliers across Europe and Asia, and PY Group’s equipment stands out for its robust build quality and production consistency,” said the Akay representative. “This visit has given us full confidence not only in the machinery but also in the technical support and responsiveness of the PY team.”
PY Group’s export manager Tony Tong noted that the meeting concluded with an initial agreement on the core commercial terms, and both sides are now proceeding with the final contract drafting.
