Algerian Clients Visit PY Biscuit Production Line Factory, Eyeing Further Cooperation

In a positive step toward deepening trade ties between China and Algeria, a delegation of Algerian food industry clients recently visited PY Industry Group state-of-the-art biscuit production line factory. The visit focused on exploring advanced manufacturing technologies, evaluating production capacity, and discussing potential long-term partnerships.

Upon arrival, the guests were warmly welcomed by the factory’s management team, who presented an overview of the PY Group history, global footprint, and commitment to quality. The Algerian delegation showed great interest in the fully automated biscuit production lines, which integrate high-precision mixing, forming, baking, cooling, and packaging systems.

The tour began in the raw material processing zone, where the clients observed the strict quality control measures for flour, sugar, and oils. They then walked through the main production hall, where high-speed rotary molding and wire-cut lines were operating with impressive efficiency. The baking section, equipped with multi-zone temperature control ovens, drew particular attention for its ability to produce consistently golden and crispy biscuits.

One highlight was the real-time monitoring system, which allows operators to track moisture content, color, and weight across each batch. The Algerian clients asked detailed questions about energy consumption, maintenance schedules, and line customization options. The factory’s engineers provided thorough explanations and demonstrated how the equipment can be adapted to produce various biscuit types, including sandwich biscuits, soft cakes, and hardtack varieties popular in North African markets.

After the tour, a tasting session was arranged. The clients sampled freshly produced soft biscuits, ranging from classic butter cookies to sugar-reduced options. They expressed appreciation for the texture, flavor, and uniformity of the products. One delegate commented, “The production efficiency and hygiene standards here are truly impressive. We see great potential for adapting this technology to our local tastes and packaging requirements.”

A subsequent meeting was held to discuss technical specifications, after-sales support, and logistics. Both parties explored the possibility of co-developing recipes tailored to Algerian consumers, such as date-filled biscuits and spiced varieties. The factory management also proposed on-site training for Algerian technicians and flexible payment terms to facilitate the initial order.

The visit concluded with a group photo in front of the production line and an exchange of gifts. The Algerian clients left with sample products, technical brochures, and a draft cooperation proposal. Both sides expressed confidence that this visit would lay a solid foundation for a mutually beneficial partnership in the growing Algerian bakery sector.

As trade between China and Algeria continues to expand under the Belt and Road Initiative, such factory visits serve as a bridge for knowledge exchange and industrial collaboration. The biscuit factory’s management stated they look forward to welcoming more North African clients and providing turnkey solutions for biscuit manufacturing.
